How to be Saved and Go to Heaven

Hint: It's both simple and difficult, but it's the yearning of your heart. That's why you're here right now.
I would be remiss if I assumed that everyone who views the Logicas website is a believer in Jesus. So I’ll take the opportunity to explain it now.
The Christian Bible makes one thing very clear; a person cannot find their way to Heaven on their own. There is nothing—nothing—that one can do on their own to merit this reward. Jesus Christ made this point very clearly; when asked how to get to Heaven, Jesus replied "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” There is no test you can complete, no good deed you can do to earn Heaven. The cost is far too high; the standard for earning Heaven is perfection.
But God knows about this dilemma, and He dearly loves us. He wants us to be with Him forever, but He is a just God—He has to comply with his own standard. So in order to help us get to Heaven, God comes down to earth in human form—Jesus is God in the flesh. Since Jesus was perfect—having never sinned—his death is worth enough to ensure that every person who desires Heaven can get there by just accepting God’s free invitation. Jesus suffered and died a horrific, torturous death in order to ensure our entrance to Heaven. When you accept this invitation, your debt is paid; God sees you as good as perfect because of what Jesus did. The Bible puts it this way:
“All have sinned and fall short of the kingdom of God”
(Romans 3:23)
In other words, every single one of us is guilty
“The payment for sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus”
(Romans 6:23)
Unfortunately, sin causes a break in our relationship with God. We must spend forever away from Him. BUT...God has paid the penalty so we can be with Him
“God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
(Romans 5:8)
God loves us so much that--even though we hurt Him, He loved us enough to die for us
“ If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
It's really this simple: just say that you believe that Jesus is God in the flesh. If that's tough for you, ask God for help. "God, I don't understand this--please explain it to me. If it's true, I want to believe it!"
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13)
He wants you in His family! Call out to Him!

Salvation from Hell comes by asking Jesus to save you, and then making Him the Lord of your life. “Lord” means that you give up your old life and begin to walks the way God tells you in the Bible. Your old life was ruining you; walk away from it—turn 180 degrees and live the way God tells you. God promises He’ll help you to change--when you come to God, He promises to give you His Spirit to live with you and help you to do the right things.
But there's another factor: you have to change your ways. That's what we mean by "turning 180 degrees." You walk away from the way you were acting, and you begin to act like Jesus. This doesn't save you; rather, it proves that you really meant it, and that you believe God's way is a better way. I could call myself a car and sit in the garage going "vroom vroom" -- but does that make me a car? Of course not! Neither does just saying you're a Christian. You have to act like it! The Bible says "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead." (James 2:26). Don't let this worry you--God also says that He will help you to change--just ask Him for help anytime! If you pray to God and ask him to save you, He will do it. He loves you! Say something like this: “God, I’ve done wrong in my life. Lots of it. But I want to be saved and go to Heaven! Please save me! Give me your Holy Spirit to help me turn away from bad and toward good. I will make Jesus the Lord of my life and follow Him.”
That’s it. If you pray this way, God promises to save you, and to give you a new spirit--the Holy Spirit--to help you to change and to live like Jesus. And make sure to tell someone! A Christian friend, a pastor, or even us here at Logicas! Email us at logicasministries@icloud.com.
